A disposable, ready-to-use vial for rapid microbiological analysis of liquid & solid food, surfaces and water — validated to ISO standards.
MBS Easy
Test Vial
MBS-HACCP & WATER Easy Test is a new-generation product for the microbiological analysis of liquid and solid food, surfaces and water. It utilises a validated method compliant with ISO standards, enabling significant time savings, lower costs, and reduced need for specialised laboratory skills.
Simply add your sample — liquid or solid — into the vial, incubate in a small thermostat, and read the result by visual inspection of the colour change. No centrifuge, no culture media preparation, no specialist training required.
This makes MBS-HACCP & WATER Easy Test the ideal tool for HACCP consultants, food technologists, environmental inspectors, and water authorities performing on-site microbial analysis.
No technical expertise required. Anyone can perform the test — anywhere, anytime.
Place your liquid or solid food, surface swab, or water sample directly into the MBS Easy Test vial. The vial contains all reagents needed — nothing else to prepare.
Insert the sealed vial into a compact MBS multireader set to the required temperature. The incubation time depends on the target microorganism — typically a few hours.
After incubation, simply observe the colour of the vial. A visible colour change indicates the presence or count of the target microbial population — MBS Multireader required for Enumeration.
Log your result against HACCP Critical Control Point thresholds. Keep the sealed vial as a physical evidence record — a unique advantage for food safety audits.
MBS Easy Test vials are available for 12 different microbial targets — covering all major food safety and water quality indicators.
The gold-standard indicator of general microbial load — used in virtually every food and water safety programme.
Key indicator organisms signalling faecal contamination in food, surfaces and water samples.
Detection of E. coli — a primary indicator of sewage contamination in water and food hygiene failures.
Broad family of gram-negative bacteria; important HACCP indicator in food manufacturing environments.
Critical pathogen in water systems and clinical environments; resistant to many disinfectants.
Fungal pathogen relevant in pharmaceutical water, food processing surfaces and clinical settings.
One of the most critical food-borne pathogens — mandatory CCP monitoring in poultry, eggs and ready-to-eat foods.
Ubiquitous environmental pathogen particularly dangerous in ready-to-eat, chilled and deli food products.
Faecal indicator commonly monitored in drinking water quality programmes and clinical hygiene assessments.
Skin-associated pathogen responsible for food-borne illness outbreaks — critical in dairy and ready-to-eat food testing.
Yeast detection important in breweries, wineries, bakeries and sugary food production environments.
Reference-grade ATCC strains available for laboratory quality control and method validation protocols.
From raw materials to finished goods — monitor CCPs throughout your food production chain.
Drinking water, process water, swimming pools, wastewater — all testable on-site.
Dramatically reduce turnaround times and reagent costs versus conventional culture methods.
